Parks & Recreation online registration begins Monday, March 15

Parks & Recreation Director Stuart McCarthy has announced that online summer program registration will begin Monday, March 15, at 9 a.m.  

Walk-in, fax and mailed registration, along with online, will then continue at the Parks & Recreation Sales Office at Longshore during regular business hours beginning on Monday, March 22.   

“Many programs will fill quickly and the fastest way to register will now be online,” said McCarthy....more>>

Longshore Golf Course opens for play 

Parks and Recreation Director Stuart McCarthy has announced that the Longshore Golf Course will open for play on Friday, March 12, weather permitting.  

“Temporary tees and greens will be in use and winter rates will be charged,” said McCarthy.

Play will be on a walk-up basis.  No reserved times will be available until the greens are open.

Career Coach returns Tuesday, March 16

The CTWorks Career Coach will return to Westport Town Hall on Tuesday, March 16.

The Coach will be offering a beginner’s class in Microsoft Word 2003 from 10 a.m. – noon, followed by an intermediate Microsoft Word 2003 class from 1 -3 p.m.
