The Celebrate Westport Committee of the Town of Westport was established in 2006.  Members of the committee will serve for a term of one year.

The charge of the Celebrate Westport Committee is to be an umbrella organization coordinating and promoting new events designed to bring Westporters together and seek to renew Westport's "small-town" feeling. 

The committee will:

• assemble an online calendar of town events
• work to promote the newly established Westport Farmer's Market as a vehicle for community building
• provide opportunities to enhance the visibility and effectiveness of the town's not-for-profit organizations

The committee will identify and promote additional events and opportunities to foster community spirit.

Celebrate Westport Committee meetings will be publicly noticed and open to the public.
