The Representative Town Meeting (RTM) is the legislative body of the Town. Unlike many other legislative bodies, Westport's RTM is nonpartisan: while members may belong to a political party, they are not permitted to display a party affiliation on the ballot.

Retail Bag Checkout Ordinance and Information

The purpose of the ordinance is to encourage the use of reusable checkout bags and to ban the use of plastic bags for retail checkout of purchased goods.
