No more than 10 Town-designated Trustees of the Westport Library Association are selected by the Representative Town Meeting for a term of 4 years. Town-designated Trustees constitute 50% of the Library voting Trustees. Either one or two Trustees are appointed each year, depending upon the number of Trustees whose terms are expiring that year.
The Trustees of the Westport Library Association have all the powers and duties conferred or imposed upon them by law.
