The mission of the Selectman's Office is to serve and assist the residents of Westport in an efficient and courteous manner.
The office responds to citizen inquiries, including information requests, suggestions, complaints, and requests for action in all areas of municipal government.
The Selectman's Office is also responsible for the correspondence and clerical work of the Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority, and the Water Pollution Control Authority, in addition to various ad-hoc committees.
