Wakeman Town Farm joins Westport Parks and Recreation!
The Westport Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce its new alliance with Wakeman Town Farm.  Their offerings this year will be a farm apprentice programs, sustainability workshops, junior farmer camps and even an environmental "boot camp." Register now for Indoor Baseball!
Join Staples Baseball head coach Jack McFarland and the Staples High School baseball staff for instruction in the fundamentals and skills needed to excel in the game of baseball.  The Wrecker Crew will prepare upcoming little leaguers in grades 2 through 8 for the spring season with variety of skills and drills to improve their game.  The clinic will be offered at the end of February.  Click here for more information or to register now.

The Friends of Westport Parks and Recreation is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to enhance, preserve, protect and promote the Town of Westport's Parks and Recreation facilities in partnership with the town, for the enjoyment of present and future generations of Westport residents.
The Friends are currently raising funds for a new Halfway House at the Longshore Golf Course, to be built by a subcommittee of the Longshore Golf Advisory Committee. In the future, the Friends hope to lend assistance to other groups that wish to enhance our parks and recreational facilities.
