The Westport Police Department has announced that local traffic accident reports will now be available online beginning Monday, March 15.

Reports will be available at http://westportpdct.policereports.us.  Viewers will be able to search for a report, view and print from their computer. There is a link to this site from the Police Department's home page.

The fee for the accident report obtained from the Web site will be $5. Payments can be made through the secure site by credit card or you may contact PoliceReports.us at 800-489-0190 for information on qualifying for a prepaid account. Paper copies of the accident reports can still be obtained at the Westport Police Department at 50 cents per page.

This partnership with PoliceReports.us is part of the Westport Police Department’s continuing effort to increase its accessibility to the public by creating an alternative means of accessing reports.
