REVISED 03-25-2025 TO ADD ITEM #11
Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectwomen, Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 9:00 AM in the Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. The meeting will be livestreamed on www.westportct.gov and/or broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 79, subject to availability. Comments from the public regarding agenda items may be sent for distribution to the Board prior to the meeting to selectwoman@westportct.gov. Agenda to include but not be limited to the following items and is subject to revision:
1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectwomen’s public meeting of March 12, 2025.
2. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Tax Collector and in accordance with C.G.S. Sec. 12-129, to approve the refunds of overpayments of taxes, as presented.
3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the request for a waiver of the Town Policy on Encroachments on Town Property as it relates to a stone wall located within the Town Right-of-Way fronting along 18 Treadwell Avenue, contingent upon compliance with recommendations and requirements from relevant Town Departments and Commissions, and execution of an Encroachment Easement Agreement satisfactory to the Town Attorney’s Office.
4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Pop-Up Dining Permit Application for a Pop-Up Cafe to be located in the equivalent of two (2) parking spaces only, or at the discretion of the Board of Selectwomen, on the Town roadway known as Railroad Place adjacent to the property known as 30 Railroad Place (Tarantino Restaurant), contingent upon compliance with recommendations, safety conditions and final safety inspection from relevant Town departments and in accordance with the 2023 Pop-Up Dining Permit Policy.
5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Temporary Construction Easement Agreement for the placement of a dumpster in Parker Harding Plaza adjacent to the building located at 145 Main Street, for a time period from the date of execution through a November 2025 date to be determined, contingent upon compliance with safety recommendations, terms, conditions and inspections from relevant Town departments, in accordance with the Policy for Temporary Placement of a Dumpster on Town Property, as approved November 27, 2024.
6. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the IT Director, to approve the Third Amendment to New Subscription Quote by and between the Town of Westport and Nearmap US, Inc., dated March 31, 2022.
7. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Grant Agreement between the State of Connecticut and the Town of Westport Under the Local Bridge Program for Kings Highway North Over Willow Brook, Bridge No. 158021, State Project No. 9158-0021.
8. Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA), to approve final benefit assessments to be levied for the construction or acquisition of a sewer system affecting properties located in all or part of the following areas: Whitney Street, Roseville Road, Fernwood Road, Plumtree Lane, Pamela Place, and Ledgmoor Lane (Contract 73).
9. Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA), to approve the supplemental sanitary sewer connection at #52 Sylvan Road North, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Collection System Supervisor's letter of March 6, 2025.
10. Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA), to approve the supplemental sanitary sewer connection at #8 Washington Avenue, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Collection System Supervisor's letter of March 6, 2025.

11. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Youth Services Director, to approve a Software as a Service Agreement between the Town of Westport and Getro Industries regarding a job board for teens.
