Revision #1 – Withdraw Item #7 

Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectwomen, Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 9:00 AM in the Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. The meeting will be livestreamed on www.westportct.gov and/or broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 79, subject to availability. Comments from the public regarding agenda items may be sent for distribution to the Board prior to the meeting to selectwoman@westportct.gov. Agenda to include but not be limited to the following items and is subject to revision: 

  1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectwomen’s and Water Pollution Control Authority’s public meetings of May 14, 2025. 

     

  2. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Tax Collector and in accordance with C.G.S. Sec. 12-129, to approve the refunds of overpayments of taxes, as presented.

     

  3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Pop-Up Dining Permit Application for a Pop-Up Cafe to be located in the equivalent of two (2) parking spaces only on the Town roadway known as Railroad Place adjacent to the property known as 36 Railroad Place (Harvest Wine Bar and Restaurant), contingent upon compliance with recommendations, safety conditions and final safety inspection from relevant Town departments and in accordance with the 2023 Pop-Up Dining Permit Policy.
  4. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the CT Department of Transportation (DOT), to approve the granting of an easement to the CT DOT for the installation and maintenance of a Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon on Town property located at 88 Imperial Avenue (at Baker Avenue); to accept compensation in the amount of $500 for such easement; and to authorize the First Selectwoman to execute any and all documents necessary to effect the granting of said easement.

     

  5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Statement of Work under the Master Services Agreement, dated August 29, 2022, by and between the Town of Westport and CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP as it relates to audit services for the year ending June 30, 2025.

     

  6. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Assistance Agreement by and between the State of Connecticut Acting by Connecticut Port Authority and the Town of Westport pursuant to administering the State grant-in-aid for the Small Harbor Improvement Projects Program (SHIPP) related to the Compo Marina improvement project.

  7. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Long Lots School Building Committee, to approve the Award of Contract for RFP 25-141T (Structural Peer Review LLES) to the qualified bidder.

     

  8. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the sublease between the Town of Westport and Avis Budget Car Rental, LLC at the eastbound Saugatuck Railroad Station.
