Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectwomen, Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 9:00 AM in the Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. The meeting will be livestreamed on www.westportct.gov and/or broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 1310, subject to availability. Comments from the public regarding agenda items may be sent for distribution to the Board prior to the meeting to selectwoman@westportct.gov. Agenda to include but not be limited to the following items and is subject to revision(s):
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectwomen’s and the Water Pollution Control Authority’s public meetings of August 13, 2025.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Tax Collector and in accordance with C.G.S. Sec. 12-129, to approve the refunds of overpayments of taxes, as presented.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Registrars of Voters, to approve the Agreement between the Town of Westport and Election Systems & Software, LLC for hardware maintenance and software license, maintenance and support services for voter tabulation equipment.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine, acting in its capacity as the Local Traffic Authority (LTA), to confirm that there is no substantial impact to the State highway system from the New Long Lots Elementary School Project.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine, acting in its capacity as the Local Traffic Authority (LTA), to request approval of the Connecticut Department of Transportation, Traffic Division, for a replacement of the preemption signal located at the Saugatuck Firehouse at 555 Riverside Avenue.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine, acting in its capacity as the Local Traffic Authority (LTA), to request approval of the Connecticut Department of Transportation, Traffic Division, for an additional mid-block crosswalk in the vicinity of Commuter Lot #s 5 and 6, crossing Riverside Avenue, in accordance with preliminary plans provided by Tighe & Bond Inc.
- Acting as the Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA), to approve the supplemental sanitary sewer connection for the property at #15 Long Lots Road, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA General Manager’s letter of August 18, 2025.
