Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectwomen, Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 9:00 AM in the Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. The meeting will be livestreamed on www.westportct.gov and/or broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 79, subject to availability. Comments from the public regarding agenda items may be sent for distribution to the Board prior to the meeting to selectwoman@westportct.gov. Agenda to include but not be limited to the following items and is subject to revision(s):
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectwomen’s public meeting of September 10, 2025.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Tax Collector and in accordance with C.G.S. Sec. 12-129, to approve the refunds of overpayments of taxes, as presented.
- Acting as the Local Traffic Authority, to take such action as the meeting may determine, to approve the closure of (i) Main Street from Post Road to Avery Place (ii) Avery Place from Main Street to Myrtle Avenue and(iii) Myrtle Avenue from Evergreen Avenue to Main Street from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 (rain date: Thursday, October 30, 2025) for the Parks & Recreation-sponsored Halloween Parade.
- Acting as the Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA), to take such action as the meeting may determine, to approve the supplemental sanitary sewer connection at #26 Mayflower Parkway, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA General Manager’s letter of September 10, 2025.

- To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Registrars of Voters and pursuant to Public Act 25-168, to approve an Agreement between the Town of Westport and the Connecticut Secretary of the State to provide a grant to fund costs related to implementing and conducting early voting.
