Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 9:00 AM in Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. The meeting will be livestreamed on www.westportct.gov and/or broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 79, subject to availability. Comments from the public regarding agenda items may be sent for distribution to the Board prior to the meeting to selectman@westportct.gov. Agenda to include but not be limited to the following items and is subject to revision(s):
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s public meeting of November 26, 2025.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Temporary Construction Easement Agreement between the Town of Westport and J. Carlson Tree Care for access to approximately 150’ of the walking path on the western corner of the Town Property at Winslow Park to accommodate tree work on the private properties at 12 and 14 Evergreen Avenue, subject to compliance with recommendations from the Parks Superintendent and execution of the Temporary Construction Easement and submission of certificate(s) of insurance satisfactory to the Town Attorney’s Office.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Tax Collector and in accordance with C.G.S. Sec. 12-129, to approve the refunds of overpayments of taxes, as presented.

- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the appointment of Rick Giunta to the Westport-Weston Foundation Distribution Committee for a 5-year term commencing January 1, 2026 through January 31, 2031.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine, in accordance with C.G.S. Sec. 13a-49. Discontinuance of highways or private ways. to approve the discontinuance of that certain piece of land situated in the Town of Westport, County of Fairfield and State of Connecticut, shown as “Proposed Road” and lying between Lot Number 37 on the north and Lots 38, 39 and 40 on the South as shown on “Map of Property of Mae L. Jennings, Westport Conn. April 1932,” on file in the Westport Town Clerk’s Office as Map 965, and further delineated on the “Zoning/Location Survey Map of Property prepared for Elizabeth Zobel & Ronald Zobel, 7 High Gate Road, Westport Connecticut, dated June 24, 2009 by Walter H. Skidd, Land Surveyor, LLC.”
- To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Parks & Recreation Director, to approve the Lease Agreement between the Town of Westport and Club Car, LLC through Omnia Partners, for the five (5) year lease for fifty-two (52) 2026 Club Car Tempo Electric Lithium-Ion golf carts.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Parks and Recreation Director, to approve the Award of Contract for RFP #26-146T (Design, Permitting and Construction Administration for Rehabilitation of the Longshore Marina Bulkhead) in the amount of $90,800.00 to RACE Coastal Engineering.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the following Resolution as it relates to authorization for accepting a 2025 STEAP Grant:
RESOLVED, that First Selectman Kevin Christie be, and is hereby authorized to accept on behalf of the Town of Westport, a 2025 STEAP Grant in the amount of one million dollars (1,000,000.00) for the replacement of the Cross Highway Bridge Over Dead Man Brook (DOR Grant No.: 01580227GR); and
FURTHER RESOLVED, that First Selectman Kevin Christie is hereby authorized to enter into and execute any and all agreements, contracts and documents necessary to obtain said 2025 STEAP Grant with the State of Connecticut.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Town Attorney’s Office, to approve the Assignment and Assumption of Lease for the Town Property at 1317 Post Road East.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine, in accordance with Section 1-225b of the Connecticut General Statutes, to review and approve the 2025 Calendar of regularly scheduled public meetings of the Board of Selectmen, Local Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority.
