Notice & Agenda
Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 9:00 AM in Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. The meeting will be livestreamed on www.westportct.gov and/or broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 79, subject to availability. Comments from the public regarding agenda items may be sent for distribution to the Board prior to the meeting to selectman@westportct.gov. Agenda to include but not be limited to the following items and is subject to revision(s):
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s public meeting of December 10, 2025.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Tax Collector and in accordance with C.G.S. Sec. 12-129, to approve the refunds of overpayments of taxes, as presented.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Westport Volunteer Emergency Medical Service (WVEMS) and in accordance with the Westport Policy for Gifts to the Town, to accept the transfer of ownership from the WVEMS to the Town of Westport of the following vehicles:
a. 2025 Freightliner M2 106plus – PL – Custom Ambulance (VIN ending 4423)
b. 2025 Freightliner M2 106plus – PL – Custom Ambulance (VIN ending 4424)
And further, to approve decommissioning and the transfer to the WVEMS from the Town of Westport of the following vehicles:
a. 2012 GMC Savana Lifeline Ambulance – former unit 601 (VIN ending 4410)
b. 2015 Chevrolet G4500 PL Custom Ambulance – former unit 603 (VIN ending 9572)
c. 2018 Ford Explorer Police Package Fly Car – former unit 604 (VIN ending 3048)
4. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Westport PD Railroad Operations Director, to approve the increase in parking fine violations from $25.00 to $50.00 for illegal parking in “Permit Parking Only” spaces at the Saugatuck and Greens Farms Railroad Station Parking Lots.
5. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Long Lots School Building Committee, to approve the Award of Contract for RFP 26-156T (Special Inspector and Materials Testing Services – Long Lots Elementary School) to Connecticut Material Testing Lab, Inc. (CMTL).
6. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Deputy Fire Chief, to approve a Purchase Order and Addendum between the Town of Westport and New England Fire Equipment & Apparatus Corporation for the purchase of a new LTC 93’ Mid Mount Platform on a Spartan Gladiator Chassis.
