LEGAL NOTICE OF DECISION
Notice is hereby given that the Westport Flood & Erosion Control Board took the following actions at an electronic meeting held on July 9, 2025:
I. PUBLIC HEARING
- 28 Owenoke Park / WPL-12145-25; Approved. Application of Cindy Tyminski on behalf of the owners, Elizabeth and Julian Robins, to construct a pool, new entry stair, patio, driveway, fire pit, and generator.The proposed activity is within the WPL area of Grays Creek.
- 49 Evergreen Avenue / WPL-12149-25; Approved. Application of Curt Lowenstein on behalf of the owners, Michael Moss and Melanie Wyler, to construct a pool, garage, patio, and associated site improvements.The proposed activity is within the WPL area of Deadman Brook.
- 33 High Point Road / WPL-12159-25; Approved. Application of Bryan Nesteriak on behalf of the owners, Brian & Houda Cohen, to construct a new single- family residence and pool.The proposed activity is within the WPL area of an unnamed tributary to Muddy Brook.
- 83 Red Coat Road / WPL-12160-25; Approved. Application of Jim Kousidis on behalf of the owner, Kevin Russell, to construct a new single-family residence, driveway, pool, patio, and septic system. The proposed activity is within the WPL area of the Saugatuck River.
- 1 Sturges Highway / WPL-12161-25; Approved. Application of Jim Kousidis on behalf of the owner, 1 Sturges LLC, for a 3-lot subdivision. The proposed activity is within the WPL area of an unnamed tributary to Sasco Brook.
- 26 Beachside Avenue / WPL-12162-25; Continued. Application of Robert Marx on behalf of the owner, Fiona Garland, to construct a new single-family residence, pool, and patio.The proposed activity is within the WPL area of Greens Farms Brook.
- 30 Beachside Avenue / WPL-12163-25; Continued. Application of Robert Marx on behalf of the owner, 30 Beachside Avenue Owner LLC, to construct a new single-family residence and pool.The proposed activity is within the WPL area of Greens Farms Brook.
II. WORK SESSION
- Enforcement action: Violation at 2 Quarter Mile Road; Approved. Review of work completed without permits by the owner, Kerry Szych, including the installation of a culvert and filling of an open drainage ditch.The work was done within the WPL area of an unnamed tributary to Poplar Plains Brook.
