Westport Conservation Commission
October 15, 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Conservation Commission made the following decisions at its
October 15, 2025 Public Hearing in conformance with the Connecticut Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Act and the Town of Westport’s Regulations for the Protection and Preservation of Wetlands and Watercourses and the Waterway Protection Line Ordinance.
THE FOLLOWING APPLICATIONS WERE APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS:
- 150 Long Lots Road:Application #IWW/M-12207-25 by Naji Farhat & Tess Fantegrossi to amend wetland map #H10.
- 377 Main Street:Application #IWW/M-12211-25 by Paul & Joan Westerdale to amend wetland boundary map #C11.
- 41 Jennie Lane:Application #IWW,WPL-12187-25 by Tracy Chalifaux LLC on behalf of Lisa Mileto & Todd Morrison to legalize fill within regulated areas, proposed native mitigation plantings and removal of invasive species and a new patio. Portions of the work are within the upland review areas and the WPLO area of an unnamed tributary to the Sherwood Mill Pond.
- Edgemarth Hill Roadway: Application #IWW,WPL-12191-25 by Curt Lowenstein, PE on behalf of Ted Martell, President of The Edgemarth Hill Road Association Inc. for repaving and grading of an existing private road with associated stormwater improvements. Portions of the work are within the upland review area setbacks and the WPLO area of an unnamed tributary to Pussy Willow Brook.
- 34 Burr School Road:Application #IWW,WPL/E-12209-25 by Michale & Jessica Garaffa to construct a garage with bonus room above over existing driveway. Portions of the work are within the upland review area setbacks.
- 4 Lantern Hill Road:Application #AA,WPL-12190-25 by Avind Baur of Kousidis Engineering LLC on behalf of 4 Lanter Hill Holding A Delaware LLC to construct a new single-family residence with attached garage, new accessory structure, new driveway, inground pool, and attached patio, with associated site improvement. Portions of the work are within the WPL area of an unnamed tributary to Dead Man’s Brook.
- 26 Morningside Drive South:Application #AA,WPL-12219-25 by Lucio Gabriel on behalf of 26 Morningside Builders LLC to add retaining wall to enable grade between house and proposed retaining wall to be closer to level yard. Put fence on top of retaining wall. A portion of the pool patio is under consideration with this permit. Portions of the work are within the WPLO areas of Muddy Brook.
THE FOLLOWING APPLICATION WAS DENIED:
- 11 Devon Road:Continued Application: Application #IWW/M-12178-25 by Brian Carey of LandTech on behalf of Stephen & Frances Rowland to amend wetland boundary map #H08.
