Westport Shellfish Commission

Notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the Westport Shellfish Commission is scheduled for Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. in Room 309 of Westport Town Hall.

The Commission will take such action as the meeting may determine regarding the following:

1. New Business:  
a. 28 Owenoke Park:  Review for a Pre-Submission Determination to DEEP for the construction of a residential dock consisting of a 4’ X 7’ timber upland access ramp, a 4’ X 34’ fixed timber pier supported by eight (8) 12” timber piles, a 3’ X 25’ gangway, and an 8’ X 12.5’ float with float skids and restrained by two timber piles. 
2. Police Report
   a. Request for renewed appropriation by the Shellfish Commission for replacement of new jet ski. 
3. Approval of the July 9, 2025 minutes. 
4. Treasurers Report
5. Recreational Shellfish Report
6. Old Business 
   a. Update on water quality with HarborWatch. 
   b. Discussion by Dick Harris on water quality testing results in Muddy Brook. 
   c. Discussion of participation at Winter Farmer’s Markets.
