NOTICE OF FIELD TRIP
CONSERVATION COMMISSION
The Westport Conservation Commission will conduct a site visit on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. for orientation purposes only to the following properties in preparation for reviewing the following agenda items at its April 9, 2025 Public Hearing:
1. 14 Beltas Farms Road: Application #IWW,WPL/E-12120-25 by Sam Lampert, Arctic Builders on behalf of HER Home LLC for the construction of a new single family residence, new driveway, septic system, pool, and associated site improvements. Portions of the work are within the upland review area setbacks.
2. 107 Old Road: Application #IWW,WPL-12126-25 by Andy Soumelidis on behalf of George Trionis for a 4-lot subdivision and to construct a new roadway. This is a referral to the P&Z Commission. Portions of the proposed activity is within the wetland, the upland review area setback and the WPLO area of an unnamed tributary to Sasco Brook.
3. 27 Bauer Place Extension: Application #IWW,WPL/E- 12118-25 by Cindy Tyminski on behalf of Patricia Wetmore Guarahian for a proposed new single family residence with attached garage, driveway, pool, drainage and associated site improvements. Portions of the work are withing the upland review area setbacks.
4. 40 Compo Beach Road: Application #WPL-12124-25 by David Giorlando on behalf of Michele Cardello for an open air cabana. Work is within the WPLO area of Grays Creek.
5. 5 Duck Pond Road: Application #WPL-12125-25 by Curt Lowenstein on behalf of Jonathan & Emily Vlock to construct a new accessory dwelling unit and associated site improvements. Work is within the WPLO area of the Saugatuck River.
6. 125 Riverside Avenue: Application #WPL-12127-25 by Lucien Vita on behalf of 125 RA LLC to construct a new single family residence, ADU, pool, driveways, patios, retaining walls, drainage, grading and associated site improvements. Portions of the work is within the WPLO area of the Saugatuck River.
Members will meet at the sites in their own vehicles. The sites might be especially wet and or be prone to ticks so appropriate clothing and footwear is recommended.
