REPRESENTATIVE TOWN MEETING NOTICE
ITEM # 1 REVISED ON JUNE 11, 2025
All Representative Town Meeting members and inhabitants of the Town of Westport are hereby notified that a special meeting of the Representative Town Meeting members will be held at Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Ave. in the auditorium on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. for the purposes listed below.
1. Upon the request of the Long Lots School Building Committee, to approve an appropriation in the amount of $101,920,000 $103,190,124 along with bond and note authorization to the Educational Facility Improvement Fund Account for the construction of the new Long Lots Elementary School.
2. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Conservation Commission and the Flood and Erosion Control Board, pursuant to Section 30-96 of the Town Code, to approve the application by the Town of Westport to construct a new elementary school, parking lot, athletic fields, playgrounds, and associated site and utility work. The proposed activity is partially within the WPL area of an unnamed tributary to Muddy Brook. (Application #WPL-12151-25).
