NOTICE OF FIELD TRIP 
CONSERVATION COMMISSION 


The Westport Conservation Commission will conduct a site visit on Friday, July  11, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. for orientation purposes only to the following properties in preparation for reviewing the following agenda items at its June 18, 2025 Public Hearing:     
                        
1. 83 Red Coat Road:  Application #IWW,WPL-12160-25 by Jim Kousidis on behalf of Kevin Russell to construct a new single family residence, driveway, pool, patio, and septic system. Work is within the upland review area setbacks and within the WPLO area of the Saugatuck River. 
2. 49 Evergreen Avenue:  Application #IWW,WPL-12149-25 by Curt Lowenstein on behalf of Michael Moss & Melanie Wyler to construct a pool, garage, patio and associated site improvements. Work is within the WPLO area of Deadman’s Brook. 
3. 33 High Point Road:  Application #IWW,WPL-12159-25 by Bryan Nesteriak on behalf of Brian & Houda Cohen to construct a new single family residence and pool. Portions of the work are within the upland review area and within the WPLO area of an unnamed tributary to Muddy Brook. 
4. 1 Sturges Highway:  Application #IWW,WPL-12161-25 by Jim Kousidis on behalf of 1 Sturges LLC for a 3-lot subdivision. Portions of the work are within the upland review area setbacks and the WPLO area of an unnamed tributary to Sasco Brook. 
5. 4 Taylor Lane:  Application #IWW,WPL/E-12158-25 by Curt Lowenstein on behalf of Timothy Mitchell for a proposed generator, pool, expansion of existing patio, new patio, retaining walls and associated site improvements. Portions of the work are within the upland review area setbacks. 
6. 26 Beachside Avenue:  Application #WPL-12162-25 by Robert Marx on behalf of Fiona Garland to construct a new single family residence, pool patio and associated site improvements. Work is withing the WPLO area of New Creek. 
7. 30 Beachside Avenue:  Application #WPL-12163-25 by Robert Marx on behalf of 30 Beachside Avenue Owner LLC to construct a new single family residence, pool patio and associated site improvements. Work is withing the WPLO area of New Creek. 
8. 28 Owenoke Park:  Application #WPL-12145-25 by Cindy Tyminski on behalf of Elizabeth & Julian Robins to construct a pool, new entry stair, patio, driveway, fire pit and generator. Work is within the WPLO area of Grays Creek. 

Members will meet at the sites in their own vehicles. The sites might be especially wet and or be prone to ticks so appropriate clothing and footwear is recommended.
