NOTICE OF FIELD TRIP
CONSERVATION COMMISSION
The Westport Conservation Commission will conduct a site visit on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. for orientation purposes only to the following properties in preparation for reviewing the following agenda items at a Show Cause Hearing:
1. 3 Tupelo Road (Map: F16 Lot 53: In accordance with Sections 4.2.1 (b), (c), (d), (e), (f) and (g), 7.1 and 7.3 (h) of The Regulations for the Protection and Preservation of Wetlands and Watercourses of the Town of Westport and the Section 30-124 of the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Westport, a Show Cause Hearing of the Westport Conservation Commission will be held for a Cease & Correct Order issued to the property owners for exceeding the scope of Permit #IWW,WPL-11782-23 by constructing patios, pool equipment, shed, firepits, and grading changes without permits. Portions of the work are within the wetlands and upland review area setbacks.
Members will meet at the sites in their own vehicles. The sites might be especially wet and or be prone to ticks so appropriate clothing and footwear is recommended.
