Notice & Agenda

Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectmen, Local Traffic Authority (LTA), and Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA) will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 9:00 AM in Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. The meeting will be livestreamed on www.westportct.gov and/or broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 79, subject to availability. Comments from the public regarding agenda items may be sent for distribution to the Board prior to the meeting to selectman@westportct.gov. Agenda to include but not be limited to the following items and is subject to revision(s).  

To take such action as the meeting may determine:

1. To approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s and WPCA’s meetings of April 22, 2026.

2. Upon the recommendation of the Tax Collector and in accordance with C.G.S. Sec. 12-129, to approve the refunds of overpayments of taxes, as presented.

3. Upon the recommendation of the Director of Human Services, and in accordance with the Policy for Gifts to the Town, to accept a $5,500.00 donation to the CLUB203 Program account from the Westport Rotary Club Foundation.
 
4. Upon the recommendation of the Town Clerk, to approve the Master Subscription Agreement between the Town of Westport and Valsoft Corporation Inc. d/b/a COTT Systems for online records management software for the Town Clerk’s Office. 

5. Upon the recommendation of the Director of Information Technology, to approve the Amendment to the Agreement between the Town of Westport and Tyler Technologies, dated March 18, 2008, to add software, products and services to Human Resources Management, Payroll, Content Management and Professional Services software.

6. Upon the recommendation of the Director of Information Technology, to approve the Subscription and Services Agreement and associated Rider between the Town of Westport and Granicus, LLC for services and deliverables for website management.

7. To approve the acceptance of the offer of $14,000.00 from the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation for the property rights acquisition of the town property on Imperial Avenue at its intersection of US Route 1 (Post Road East), and to authorize First Selectman Kevin Christie to sign the acceptance agreement on behalf of the Town of Westport. 

8. As the WPCA, to approve the request for a supplemental sanitary sewer connection for the property at #29 Compo Beach Road, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA General Manager’s letter of May 4, 2026.

9. As the WPCA, to approve the request for a supplemental sanitary sewer connection for the property at #5 Over Rock lane, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA General Manager’s letter of May 5, 2026.
