WESTPORT CONSERVATION COMMISSION
PUBLIC HEARING
APRIL 22, 2026
Notice is hereby given of a Public Hearing of the Westport Conservation Commission pursuant to the Connecticut Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Act, and the Regulations for the Protection and Preservation of Inland Wetlands and Watercourses of the Town of Westport (IWW Regulations) and the Waterway Protection Line Ordinance (WPLO) to be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. in the Auditorium of Westport Town Hall.
This meeting will be live streamed on https://www.westportct.gov and shown on Optimum Government Access Channel 79, subject to availability. The Commission shall meet to take such action under the purview of the Town’s IWW Regulations and the Waterway Protection Line Ordinance as the meeting may determine with regard to the following:
Changes or Additions to the Agenda: The Commission may amend the agenda by a 2/3 vote to include items not requiring a Public Hearing.
Public Hearing:
- 110 Long Lots Road:Application #IWW/M-12302-26 by Bryan Kerschner on behalf of 110 Long Lots Road LLC to amend wetland boundary map #G10.
- 291 Saugatuck Avenue:Application #WPL-12291-26 by Moon Gardens LLC on behalf of Brooklace Real Estate LLC to construct a new single-family residence with detached garage, new driveway with parking area, patio, repair/replace the existing tennis court, landscape walls, potential geothermal wells, and a drainage system. Portions of the work are within the WPL areas of the Saugatuck River.
- 218 Hillspoint Road:Application #WPL-12294-26 by William Shaffer on behalf of Inveswell LLC to construct a new single-family residence, accessory dwelling unit and swimming pool. Portions of the work are within the WPL areas of the Sherwood Mill Pond.
- 11 Marilane:Application #IWW,WPL/E-12300-26 by Kousidis Engineering LLC on behalf of Jason & Sherri Haymond Tr. to construct a proposed inground pool with attached patio and associated retaining wall with minor regrading. Work is within the upland review area setbacks.
- 5 Post Road WEST
East:Application #WPL-12301-26 by LandTech on behalf of Ansley Westport Riverside LLC to construct a dock with cradle for a boat and transient slips for public use. Work is within the WPL area of the Saugatuck River.

- Approval of March 11, 2026 meeting minutes.
- Other Business
The Commission may not open new business on the agenda after 10 p.m. at the discretion of the Chairman. This includes applications scheduled for public hearings. Items shall be continued or rescheduled to a later date, as necessary.
