WESTPORT CONSERVATION COMMISSION

PUBLIC HEARING

SEPTEMBER 16, 2026 

Notice is hereby given of a Public Hearing of the Westport Conservation Commission pursuant to the Connecticut Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Act, and the Regulations for the Protection and Preservation of Inland Wetlands and Watercourses of the Town of Westport (IWW Regulations) and the Waterway Protection Line Ordinance (WPLO) to be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. in the Auditorium of Westport Town Hall.  

 

This meeting will be live streamed on https://www.westportct.gov and shown on Optimum Government Access Channel 79, subject to availability. Meeting materials will be available at:   https://www.westportct.gov/government/departments-a-z/conservation-department/conservation-commission/commission-meetings

 

The Commission shall meet to take such action under the purview of the Town’s IWW Regulations and the Waterway Protection Line Ordinance as the meeting may determine with regard to the following:

 

Changes or Additions to the Agenda: The Commission may amend the agenda by a 2/3 vote to include items not requiring a Public Hearing. 

Public Hearing:

 

  1. 57 Compo Beach Road:Application #IWW/M-12385-26 Cindy Tyminski on behalf of 57 CBR LLC to amend wetland boundary map #D3.
  2. 3 Nutcracker Lane:Application #IWW/M- 12387-26 by Danya Pincavage on behalf of Tamarra Pincavage, Trustee to amend wetland boundary map #F15.
  3. 11 Overlook Road:Application #IWW/M-12388-26 by Michael Tighe Trust to amend wetland boundary map #C11.
  4. 1 Sturges Highway:Application #IWW,WPL/E-12383-26 by Kousidis Engineering on behalf of Luo Hangyan Tr.to construct a new single family residence with attached garage, driveway, pool and patio, new septic system, and new drainage system. Portions of the work are within the upland review area setbacks.
  5. 9 Sturges Highway:Application #IWW,WPL/E-12384-26 by Kousidis Engineering on behalf of 1 Sturges LLC to construct a new single family residence with attached garage, driveway, pool and patio, new septic system, and new drainage system. Portions of the work are within the upland review area setbacks.
  6. 3 Woods Grove Road: Application #WPL-12392-26 by Cindy Tyminski on behalf of Caitlin Hussy & Brian Byrnes to renovate the existing residence to FEMA compliance, replace deck with a single-story addition, construct a second-story addition, new driveway and stormwater drainage system. Work is within the WPLO area of the Saugatuck River.
  7. 3 Grist Mill Lane:Application #AA,WPL-12395-26 by Kousidis Engineering on behalf of Michael & Elena Ridloff for a proposed inground pool with new patio expansion, walls, new septic system and regrading. Work is proposed with the WPLO area of Sasco Brook.
  8. 55 Greens Farms Road:Application #IWW,WPL-12396-26 by Timothy S Hollister on behalf of TC Greens Farms LLC to subdivide the property into two lots, to redevelop the southern portion of the office park to accommodate a new multi-family residential building and renovate the existing northern building and associated site improvements. Work is within the upland review area setbacks and the WPLO area of Pussy Willow Brook.
  9. 31 Valley Road:Application #IWW,WPL-12398-26 BY Aris W Stalis on behalf of Michael & Madelyn Gorkin to construct and addition, excavate along Pussy Willow Brook to remove fill placed in the flood zone and restore the edge of the stream. Work is proposed in the upland review area setbacks and the WPLO area of Pussy Willow Brook.

The Commission may not open new business on the agenda after 10 p.m. at the discretion of the Chairman. This includes applications scheduled for public hearings. Items shall be continued or rescheduled to a later date, as necessary.
