LEGAL NOTICE OF DECISION
Notice is hereby given that the Westport Flood & Erosion Control Board took the following actions at an electronic meeting held on September 2, 2026:
- PUBLIC HEARING
- 3 Woods Grove Road / WPL-12392-26; APPROVED. Application of Moon Gardens LLC on behalf of the owners, Caitlin Hussey and Brian Byrnes, to renovate an existing single-family dwelling for FEMA compliance, replace a deck with a single-story addition, construct a second story addition, a new driveway, and a stormwater drainage system.The proposed activity is within the WPL area of the Saugatuck River.
- 3 Grist Mill Lane / WPL-12395-26; APPROVED. Application of Kousidis Engineering, LLC, on behalf of the owners, Michael and Elena Ridloff, to construct a new in-ground swimming pool, patio, walls, septic system, and grading.The proposed activity is within the WPL area of Sasco Creek.
- 55-57 Green’s Farms Road / WPL-12396-26; CONTINUED. (Opened without testimony, continued to 10/7/2026).Application of Timothy S. Hollister on behalf of the owner, TC Greens Farms LLC, to subdivide a property, construct a new multi-family housing development, and associated site work.The proposed activity is within the WPL area of Pussy Willow Brook.
- 31 Valley Road / WPL-12398-26; APPROVED. Application of Aris Land Studio, LLC, on behalf of the owners, Michael and Madelyn Gorkin, to construct an addition, remove fill placed in the flood zone, and restore the edge of the stream.The proposed activity is within the WPL area of Pussy Willow Brook.
