NOTICE OF DECISION
The Westport Historic District Commission held an electronic public meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, for the following purposes:
1. APPROVED a Certificate of Appropriateness application HDC-26-00002 dated June 24, 2026, for a proposed new roof at 39 Kings Highway North (PID # B09071000), which is located in the Kings Highway North Local and National Historic Districts, with the condition that the asphalt shingle replacement roof to be used comply with the HDC Guidelines, it must consist of architectural roof shingles in weathered wood tone of warm gray and emphasized shadow lines, i.e. GAF Timberline as proposed, but in weathered wood color shingles or equivalent.
2. DENIED a Certificate of Appropriateness application HDC-26-00003 dated June 24, 2026, for proposed new siding at 67 Kings Highway North (PID # C09021000) which is located in the Kings Highway North Local and National Historic Districts.
