Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectmen, Local Traffic Authority (LTA), and Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA) will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 9:00 AM in Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. The meeting will be livestreamed on www.westportct.gov and/or broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 79, subject to availability. Comments from the public regarding agenda items may be sent for distribution to the Board prior to the meeting to selectman@westportct.gov. Agenda to include but not be limited to the following items and is subject to revision(s). 

To take such action as the meeting may determine:

1. To approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s Special Meeting of May 21, 2026 and the Board of Selectmen’s and WPCA’s meetings of May 27, 2026.

    

2. Upon the recommendation of the Tax Collector and in accordance with C.G.S. Sec. 12-129, to approve the refunds of overpayments of taxes, as presented.

    

3. To approve the Pop-Up Dining Permit Application for a Pop-Up Cafe to be located in the equivalent of two (2) parking spaces only, or at the discretion of the Board of Selectmen, on the Town roadway known as Railroad Place adjacent to the property known as 36 Railroad Place (Blu Olive Restaurant), contingent upon compliance with recommendations, safety conditions and final safety inspection from relevant Town departments and in accordance with the 2023 Pop-Up Dining Permit Policy.

    

4. To approve the Pop-Up Dining Permit Application for a Pop-Up Cafe to be located within parking spaces on the Town roadway/parking lot known as Parking Harding Plaza adjacent to the property known as 43 Main Street (YUZU Restaurant), contingent upon compliance with recommendations, safety conditions and final safety inspection from relevant Town departments and in accordance with the 2023 Pop-Up Dining Permit Policy.

    

5. In accordance with the Policy for Gifts to the Town, to approve acceptance of a $10,000 gift to the Westport Center for Senior Activities Town Escrow Fund (Account 9-133). 

    

6. To approve the Statement of Work under the Master Services Agreement (“MSA”), dated August 29, 2022, by and between the Town of Westport and CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP as it relates to audit services for the year ending June 30, 2026.

    

7. To approve the Assignment and Assumption of Tax Abatement Agreement among Homes With Hope, Inc., WRCH 10 West End Avenue, LLC, WRCH, Inc., and the Town of Westport, pursuant to (i) the Tax Abatement Agreement dated December 13, 2006; and (ii) Article VII of Chapter 134 of the Code of the Town of Westport (the “Tax Abatement Ordinance”).

    

8. To approve the Award of Contract for Bid 26-175T, Pavement Preservation and Repairs – Summer 2026, Board of Education: Kings Highway & Saugatuck Elementary Schools Parking Lots, in the amount of $684,281.50 to The Grasso Companies, LLC. 

    

9. To approve the Award of Contract for Bid 26-170T, Easton Road Pedestrian Safety Improvements at Wisteria Lane, in the amount of $483,555.00 to B&W Paving and Landscaping, LLC.

10. Discussion and potential action on an Encroachment Easement, attached to a Stipulation for Judgment, regarding a settlement in a civil action entitled Benson v. Town of Westport, Docket Number FST-CV 24-6068469, Superior Court, Judicial District of Stamford-Norwalk, for property at 17 Buena Vista Drive.
