NOTICE OF FIELD TRIP
CONSERVATION COMMISSION
The Westport Conservation Commission will conduct a site visit on Friday, July 10, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. for orientation purposes only to the following properties in preparation for reviewing the following agenda items at its July 15, 2026 Public Hearing:
1. 83 Red Coat Road: Application #IWW,WPL-12361-26 by Jim Kousidis on behalf of Kevin Russell to construct a pool cabana, adjust a previously approved pool and patio, and regrad a portion of the property where the existing pool and retaining walls are to removed, partially contained within the conservation steep slopes. Work is within the upland review area setbacks and partially within the WPLO area of the Saugatuck River.
2. 3 Partrick Lane: Application #IWW,WPL/E-12355-26 by Kara Curtis for legalization of rebuilding of sunroom, tree removal, fence extension around generator, and playset. Portions of the work are within the upland review area setbacks.
3. 6 Elmwood Road: Application #IWW-12362-26 by John Kevin Huelster, Architect on behalf of Ian & Lara Singer for renovations and addition, install new inground pool, remove all impervious pavement terraces and install new pervious paver terraces. Work is within the upland review area setbacks.
4. 109 Morningside Drive South: Application #AA,WPL/E-12352-26 by Christopher Russo, of Russo & Rizio, LLC on behalf of Marc Lasry to subdivide a single property into three residential building lots and an open space lot with associated site improvements. This is a referral to the Planning and Zoning Commission.
5. 25 Appletree Trail: Application #IWW,WPL-12363-26 by Sara Letourneau for legalization of patio. Work is within the WPLO area of Grays Creek.
6. 79 Riverside Avenue: Application #WPL-12360-26 by William Kenny Associates on behalf of 79 Riverside Ave LLC for the installation of a fence. Work is within the WPLO area of the Saugatuck River.
Members will meet at the sites in their own vehicles. The sites might be especially wet and or be prone to ticks so appropriate clothing and footwear is recommended.
