FEMA makes federal funds available through the Flood Mitigation Grant program. This informational meeting will provide an overview of FEMA Flood Mitigation Grants available and the application process for property owners. Eligible applicants with qualifying projects could apply for the grants when the application period opens in the fall of 2023.
The Town of Westport is committed to reducing the effects and cost of flooding. FEMA Flood Mitigation programs allow property owners to improve and protect their homes from flooding. Additional Floodplain and Flood Protection Information is available on the Towns website https://www.westportct.gov/residents/emergency-information-alerts/floodplain-and-flood-protection-information.
