The Department of Public Works has announced that due to the impending snowstorm tonight, (Friday 12/26/25), with clean-up efforts extending into late Saturday and beyond, the Westport Transfer Station at 300 Sherwood Island Connector will be closed on Saturday 12/27/25.

The Westport Yard Waste Facility at 180 Bayberry Lane will also be closed.

Both Facilities will re-open on Monday December 29.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, while the Public Works Department works to clear roads and parking lots.

Please be safe, and if possible, stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary.
