TENTATIVE START DATES - State Project Nos. 173-557 "AA" & "KK" - Route 1 & Route 57

This email is to advise you of the tentative start dates for two (2) Milling and Paving Projects in the Town of Westport.

State Project No. 173-557 “AA”←  NIGHT PROJECT

Route 1, Westport

TERMINI:  Route 136 (SB) [South Compo Road] to SSR 476 (NB) [Sherwood Island Connector]

LENGTH:   0.98-Mile (Log Mile: 19.83 to 20.81)

The tentative start date for the MILLING portion of this project is scheduled to begin the night of Sunday, May 10, 2026 continue for approximately three (3) nights of work ending the morning of Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

The tentative start date for the PAVING portion of this project is scheduled to begin the night of Sunday, May 17, 2026, continue for approximately five (5) nights of work ending the morning of Friday, May 22, 2026.

~For both portions of this project the work hours will be from 6:00 p.m. through 6:00 a.m. for each day of work.~

AND

State Project No. 173-557 “KK”←   NIGHT PROJECT

Route 57, Westport

TERMINI:  Route 136 (Main Street) to the Weston Town Line

LENGTH:   1.34 Miles (Log Mile: 1.21 to 2.55)

The tentative start date for the MILLING portion of this project is scheduled to begin the night of Tuesday, May 26, 2026 continue for approximately four (4) nights of work ending the morning of Friday, May 29, 2026.

The tentative start date for the PAVING portion of this project is scheduled to begin the night of Sunday, May 31, 2026, continue for approximately four (4) nights of work ending the morning of Thursday, June 4, 2026.

~For both portions of this project the work hours will be from 6:00 p.m. through 6:00 a.m. for each night of work.~

*PLEASE NOTE:  Adjustments to this schedule will be necessary due to inclement weather.
