The Registrars of Voters remind residents that all registered voters now have multiple convenient ways to cast their ballot in state and local elections.
For the upcoming Tuesday, August 11, 2026 Primary, registered Democrats and Republicans may vote by absentee ballot, during early voting (tabulators will be used), or in person on Primary Day (tabulators will be used).
Three Ways to Vote
1. Vote by Absentee Ballot
Connecticut voters may now vote by absentee ballot for any reason. Applications can be completed online at:
https://oabr-sots.ct.gov/OABR/absenteeBallotReqPortalHome.do
2. Vote Early in Person at Westport Town Hall (tabulators will be used)
10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, August 4
- Thursday, August 6
3. Vote in Person on Primary Day at Bedford Middle School (tabulators will be used)

New Polling Location for All Voters:
Bedford Middle School
88 North Avenue
Beginning with the August 11 Primary and continuing for future elections, all voters will cast their ballots at Bedford Middle School, replacing the previous polling locations.
The Registrars encourage all voters to review their voting options and choose the method that is most convenient for them.
