LiveGirl Returns to Wesport's Toquet Hall with LiveGirlTalk

Post Date:08/22/2018

Westport Youth Services Program Director Kevin Godburn announces the return of the 10-week LiveGirl Program to Westport’s Toquet Hall Teen Center (58 Post Road East).  The session will begin on Thursday, October 4 from 3:45pm-5 pm and run through Thursday, December 13.

Mr. Godburn stated, “Westport Youth Services is excited to team up with LiveGirl to spread positive vibes to local girls in grades 5-8 through their empowering 10-week “Livegirltalk” after-school program.”

He continued, “LiveGirlTalk is a 10-week facilitated discussion group that creates a BRAVE SPACE for girls. The overall goal of LiveGirlTalk is to build social-emotional intelligence and self-esteem. In other words, the goal is to help girls truly love and believe in themselves and provide them with the leadership skills necessary to have a positive impact on the world.  This will be accomplished by providing a high dosage of positivity and inspiration over ten weeks while facilitating the participants’ self-discovery of their inner LiveGirl, so that upon completion of the program they are prepared to LIVE our leadership values.”
