First Selectwoman Jennifer Tooker and Downtown Plan Implementation Committee (DPIC) Chair Randy Herbertson have announced that the DPIC will hold a public review and feedback meeting to review additional plans for the Master Plan for Downtown Parking and Pedestrian Areas: Reconnecting the Riverfront, specifically, as it relates to the Parker Harding Plaza Design. The session will be held on Tuesday, August 22, from 7-9 pm, at the Trefz Forum in the Westport Library (20 Jesup Road). Residents and Downtown stakeholders are encouraged to attend.
The Downtown Plan Implementation Committee is coordinating the project along with the Department of Public Works and Langan Engineering. The DPIC includes Town department heads and resident constituents. The public information for this project may be found on the DPIC website, downtownwestportct.com All are invited to provide feedback in the comments section at any time. DPIC also has a regular public meeting schedule, typically the 2nd Thursday of each month at 8:30 AM. Meeting notices can be found on the Town calendar on the Town website, westportct.gov.
