The Boating Advisory Committee consists of seven members, who are appointed by the First Selectman, and serve four year terms.
The committee advises the Parks & Recreation Department on all matters pertinent to boating. This includes advising the Parks & Recreation Department regarding policies and procedures affecting the town marinas, including policies concerning the assignment of slips, measurement of boats, and rules and regulations regarding the usage of these town facilities.
