The following fees have been adopted by the Town of Westport 

Residential:

• $10 for each $1,000 in value or fraction thereof plus
• $0.26 State Education Tax for each $1,000 in value or fraction thereof

Commercial:

• $11 for each $1,000 in value or fraction thereof plus
• $0.26 State Education Tax for each $1,000 in value or fraction thereof plus
• $5 Fire Department Plan Review and Inspection Fee for each $1,000 in value or fraction thereof  (updated Jan. 1, 2012)

Service:

• $20 minimum fee up to $2,000 in value plus
• $0.52 State Education Tax up to $2,000 in value

Demolition: $2 per 100 cubic feet of volume

  • Minimum: $50
  • Maximum: $300
• Commercial
  • Minimum: $75
  • Maximum: $600

Signs: $1 per square foot with minimum fee of $10 plus 0.26 for each $1000 in construction value or fraction thereof
