Westport’s Finance Department is closed to the public until further notice. Members of the Finance Team are in the office on rotating schedules but are available by phone or email during regular office hours Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. Finance Contact Directory.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR BID DELIVERY
Due to the fact that Westport Town Hall is currently closed to the public all bids can be delivered in the following manner:
UPS or Fed-ex the bid package prior to the time and date specified.
Send via USPS but please allow time to ensure you meet the deadline requirement.
Hand deliver to Town Hall and place in the drop box located at the left rear entrance to Town Hall.
All bids will be quarantined for 1 day as per our safety guidelines. Bids will be opened the next business day via a ZOOM meeting. Interested parties may apply for the ZOOM meeting access by emailing Rich Kotchko at email@example.com.

MESSAGE FROM GARY CONRAD-FINANCE DIRECTOR
The Finance Team continues to work diligently to maintain and process departmental responsibilities timely. We wish everyone good health and safety.
The Finance Director is responsible for overseeing all of the financial activities of the town.
Activities and functions include:
- Financial administration
- Accounting, debt and treasury management
- Payroll and retirement administration
- Budget/financial reporting
- Preparation of the town's annual budget
- Preparation of annual financial statements which are subsequently reviewed by an independent auditing firm as regulated by the State of Connecticut
- Purchasing activities, including bids
The Department also assists in producing the data supplied in the "Official Statements" required for long- and short-term town borrowings.
