The CT Energy Assistance Program (CEAP), Connecticut’s federally-funded energy assistance program, is now available to all income-eligible residents. Applications are taken by appointment only through Westport’s Department of Human Services.

Household gross income of less than 60 percent of the state median and liquid assets that do not exceed $15K qualify residents for this program. Click here to download the guidelines to determine eligibility.

Residents who may be over income by CEAP guidelines, may be considered for heating assistance from Westport’s Warm Up Fund. Applicants are reviewed on a case-by-case basis after supplying the required documentation including proof of gross income, liquid assets and last year’s tax return.
