The Friends of Westport Parks and Recreation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization whose mission is to enhance, preserve, protect and promote the Town of Westport's Parks and Recreation facilities in partnership with the town, for the enjoyment of present and future generations of Westport residents. The Friends' first project was serving as fiscal sponsor for fundraising for the new Halfway House at the Longshore Golf Course, which was built by a subcommittee of the Longshore Golf Advisory Committee.
The Friends invite applicants from the community for fundraising projects that will enhance our parks and recreational facilities. To apply, and for more information, please visit www.westportfriendsofparksrec.com
