The Town of Westport is fortunate to have access to the waters of Long Island Sound making boating a popular activity for many. There are two marinas maintained by the Town of Westport as well as places to launch boats.

2024 Tides
Town Marina Wait List
A boat waiting list does exist for all in-water and drystall assignments. There is a $50 escrow payment for in-water assignments. There is no fee for drystall applications. Only Town of Westport residents may occupy an in-water boat slip. Residents may choose to wait list for one or more multiple categories.
Each category requires a separate application and deposit.

State of Connecticut Harbor Master:
The Harbor Master is appointed by the Governor for a three-year term, and, subject to the direction and control of the Commissioner of Transportation, is responsible for general care, supervision, and safe, efficient operation of moorings, harbors and navigable waterways under local jurisdiction. For mooring opportunities within State waters, contact the Harbor Master.
