Planning an event at one of Westport's beautiful beaches? Whether you're hosting a picnic, gathering, or special occasion, we're here to help!
How to apply:
- Facility Requests must be submitted at least 30 days prior to your event (requests within one week will not be considered). Email completed forms to jboone@westportct.gov
- Permits are available for Westport residents, Westport-based companies, and civic organizations only.
- Note: Civic organizations and Westport-based businesses must submit a signed and notarized Hold Harmless Agreement and a Certificate of Insurance (COI) with their application.
Fees & Rentals:
- Standard Event Permit: $75 ($50 for nonprofits)
- Catering & Food Truck Fee: $100 per truck (caterers must remove all trash)
- Ned Dimes Marina Clubhouse Rental: $350 + $100 (Separate check) refundable cleaning deposit
- Parking: Guests without a beach emblem must pay the daily parking fee (waivers available for Westport-based businesses and civic organizations Monday - Thursday)
General Rules:
- No amplified music, bands, or DJs. Keep music at a respectful volume
- Tents (max 10' x 10', max 2) are allowed only for food/beverage prep
- No glass containers - please use cans, plastic, or paper products
- Trash must be removed by the event host
