Staples Pool 2016

Finding NEMO! Snorkeling & Fun Water Sports (ages 7 - 11)
We will spend the week snorkeling and finding fun treasures!  Participants will learn now to use masks, fins, and snorkels as well as specific diving techniques in order to find sunken treasure, maybe even run into Dory!  We will also explore some other fun water sports, such as water polo, relay races, water basketball, and paddleball!  Participants must be at least a Red Cross Level 4.

Swimming Girls

Intro to Competitive Swimming Camp (ages 8 - 15)
This intense one week training camp will focus on freestyle, backstroke, turns, and starts.  This program will also focus on refining participant's competitive strokes and increasing speed techniques while having fun in the water!  Students must be proficient in freestyle and backstroke.  Each lesson will incorporate a technical component of swimming followed by a fitness element.  Each participant must have goggles and swim cap.

Water Polo

All Balls in the Air Swim / Tennis Camp (ages 8 - 11)
Enjoy a week improving your swimming and tennis skills.  Participants will have the opportunity to play tennis each morning and then transition to the pool for water polo instruction, water basketball, paddle ball and free swim.  Participants must have some swim ability.  Tennis instruction will use the USTA Orange Ball and will focus more on advanced techniques and tactics.  Players will work on their ground stroke, footwork, volleys, and serve.  Players must bring their own rackets.  Don't miss this opportunity to have a ball!
