Independence Day Fireworks Celebration

Thursday, July 2 (Rain date:  Friday, July 3)


Fireworks tickets will go on sale at the Westport Police Department, located at 50 Jesup Road, beginning Monday, June 1st and tickets will also be available for sale at the Westport Parks and Recreation office. The fee is $40.00. CASH OR CHECK ONLY (Checks made payable to Westport PAL) Hope to see you there!!!

Enjoy one of Westport's oldest and best loved family events. Carnival rides,
international food court, face painting, bake sale and more! Sponsored by
the Westport Women's Club and all profits benefit local charities and
college scholarships for Staples H.S. students.

42nd Annual Point to Point Swim - Late July
An annual one mile open water race that is held at Compo Beach and the event is open to ages 10
and up. T-shirts for all entrants and awards for the male and female top three finishers in 14

 47th Westport Fine Arts Festival - May 30 & May 31 (10am to 5pm)

Westport Fine Arts FestivalThe Westport Fine Arts Festival remains a highlight on the calendars of collectors from New England and Manhattan each year. 

Original works in Painting, Watercolor, Photography, Sculpture, Drawing, Printmaking, Mixed Media, Glass, Ceramics, Fiber, Jewelry, Wood and Digital Art are displayed along the lovely Saugatuck River in beautiful downtown Westport. Live music, special performances, and children's activities make this a festival for everyone.

 Westport Kiwanis Club Triathlon - September 13
Kiwanis Tirathlon
This is a fun family friendly event open to all ability levels. The race is a beautiful
and scenic flat course and awards to all age groups in 1st to 3rd place.
 Race course is ½ mile swim, 5.5 mile bike, 2.2 mile run.
