Parking tickets may be paid in three different ways. You can pay them online, mail them to the Westport Police Department, or drop the payment off in the lobby at Police Headquarters. Just make sure you pay them within 14 days to avoid a late fee.

Contest a parking ticket?

The Town of Westport Parking Ticket Hearing Policy states that anyone who has received a parking ticket within the Town of Westport may apply for a hearing in person at Police Headquarters or request that an application be mailed. Anyone requesting a hearing must complete the entire application.  The returned application must be received within 14 days from the issuance of the ticket to be valid.

All applications for a parking ticket hearing will be reviewed. Upon this review, the parking ticket is either voided, necessitating no further action, or a date is assigned for a hearing. In either case, the individual shall be notified by mail.

This does not apply to railroad parking fees, which are not parking violation tickets. Parking fees may not be appealed through this process. If you feel a fee is in error contact the Railroad Parking Office at (203) 341-6052.
