3/18/2020 - The station houses located at both the Saugatuck and Greens Farms Railroad Stations in Westport will be closed to the public until further notice. In both cases, this will have no impact on normal railroad operations at these locations. This closure is in response to the current COVID-19 outbreak and is an additional safeguard to keep groups from congregating in close contact. We will announce when they will re-open.
Effective January 1, 2020, a tax of 6.35% will be added to all daily parking and permit parking fees.
The station house is located on New Creek Road. There is only one building on the westbound (New York-bound) side.
There are currently 3 parking lots at the Greens Farms railroad station. Lot 1 is permit and daily parking. Lot 2 and 3 is permit parking only. Parking maps are subject to change. Pay attention to the signs in all lots.
Parking is identified by signage. Daily areas are identified by blue backgrounds on the signs, permit areas have red backgrounds.
Parking in all lots is free of charge Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 7 AM and on weekends and national holidays. National Holidays include New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. You may not park in restricted parking spots or handicapped parking spots at any time.
Electric vehicle charging stations
There are 2 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations. They are located in Lot #1 and Lot #2. These spots are available on a first come, first served basis for electric vehicle permit holder or electric vehicle daily fee parking. After 11 AM, these spots are available to ALL non-electric, non-permit vehicles. Non-permit vehicles will receive a $5.00 + tax daily fee.
