Ends: All leaves must be out on Monday, December 1st, 2025 to guarantee final pick-up.

The Westport Public Works Department will collect leaves placed in biodegradable paper bags on the curbside during this period.  ALL Leaves must be placed safely near the curb of a TOWN street by December 1^st to guarantee pick-up.  Leaves placed in plastic bags will not be picked up, as the composting process cannot handle plastic.  Residents living on private roadways must place their bagged leaves at an intersecting Town roadway.

There is no need to call and schedule a pick-up, our crews will complete pick-ups as their schedules allow, with a final Town-wide pick-up scheduled for December 1^st.  For further information, contact the Department of Public Works office at 203-341-1120 or visit the Department of Public Works webpage.
