Advisory
- Starting on or about November 3, 2025, The Connecticut Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work on the two high towers adjacent to the SAGA Bridge. This work will require the use of a portion of Lot 3 near the station house and the use of parking spaces on Railroad Place. Click here for additional information and maps.
Lot 8 of the Saugatuck Train Station is closed by the Department of Transportation due to construction. Lot 7 is available for daily parking.
Sixty temporary daily parking spaces are available in Lot #1 of the Saugatuck Train Station. These spaces are marked and found in the first row closest to Park Street and Saugatuck Avenue. See the map for details.

Trouble finding permit parking at Saugatuck (Westport) Train Station:
Lot #7 continues to be underutilized. This lot is accessible from Riverside Avenue and Franklin Street with Sidewalks to the train station. Saugatuck Parking Map.
Management
The Westport Police Department, Railroad Parking Division manages Westport Railroad Parking operations and all facilities. The Police Department performs law enforcement and security services. Rail service is provided by Metro-North Railroad.
The stations and many of the surrounding lots are owned by Connecticut DOT.
